Ana Martínez Ortiz (azarat.ana@gmail.com) is a PhD student at National University of Distance Education (UNED). Her doctoral thesis analyses and studies learning processes and social transformation through community media. She completed a Euro-latinoamerican MA in Intercultural Education by UNED, a postgraduate degree in International Information and Southern Countries by Complutense University in Madrid and a degree in Journalism also by Complutense. Ana has also worked for several media in Latin America (Prensa Libre and Plaza Pública). She has been a part of participatory and educative projects such as “Cibercorresponsales” and “Start up your ideas” by Idealoga. She has also published about these experiences in several congresses and journals.
